Shaping the Future
My Vision
‘Shape the future by discovering new knowledge, and share resources with others’
We need to ask ourselves how we continue to work most effectively alongside learning and making alliances to secure upwards convergence in our environment and achieve performance in a self-improving system. This includes learning from the best, not just in our system, but internationally and from other sectors where appropriate.

The Entrepreneur
My personality has a knack for making excellent use of social interactions and networking opportunities.
I am full of life and energy, there is no greater joy for me than pushing boundaries and discovering and using new things and ideas. I love knowledge and philosophy, but not for my own sake. Its fun finding ideas that are actionable and drilling into the details so I can put them to use. If a discussion is completely arbitrary, its best use of my time. I love Combining my boldness and practicality, to experiment with new ideas and solutions. I try to put things together in ways no one else would think to. The originality is my ability to notice when things change – and when I need to change! Small shifts in habits and appearances stick out to me, and I use these observations to help create connections with others. I do not use mind games – I would rather prefer to communicate clearly, with direct and factual questions and answers. Things are what they are. All these qualities pull together to make a natural group leader- This isn’t something that I actively seek though – I have a personality which just have a knack for making excellent use of social interactions and networking opportunities.
The Philanthropist
I love the idea of social impact investing- Investing that aims to achieve specific social or environmental benefits.
The ‘love of what it is to be human’ is who I am- an idea, event, or action that is done to better humanity is close to my heart. Whether donating money to a charity, volunteering at a local shelter, raising money to donate to cancer research, or arranging a bike run to raise money for Yorkhill Hospital for children- It gives me the greatest pleasure to sacrifice what I can afford to as opposed to being done for a profit motives. My Love for Human is the essential nature and purpose of humanity, culture and civilization—intrinsically philosophical, containing both metaphysics and ethics. I am driven by a deep desire to solve social problems and help others. I love the idea of social impact investing- Investing that aims to achieve specific social or environmental benefits as it puts markets to work for profit and global good. Also I endorse converting stocks and securities, limited partnership interests, real estate and other non-cash assets into funds for charitable giving, it’s a simple, flexible and tax-efficient way to give to charity.
The Civil Society Campaigner
I promote positive national values, principles, symbols, e.g. democracy, freedom, justice, nonviolence.
I only say ‘YES’ to those fundamental principles, values, and symbols of a good society that are also accepted by the general public. At the same time, I say a loud ‘No' and protest social conditions and institutional policies and practices that violate core societal values and principles. I love to educate, organize, and involve the general public to actively oppose draconian policies and seek positive, constructive solutions. I am a reformer who would work with the official political and judicial structures to incorporate solutions into new laws and the policies and practices of society’s public and private institutions. I promote positive national values, principles, symbols, e.g. democracy, freedom, justice, nonviolence. I promote active citizen-based society where citizen’s act with disinterest to assure the common good-as an active citizen is the source of legitimate political power. I am striving towards becoming a conventional wisdom of mainstream society.
The Political Activist
My political activism goes beyond conventional politics, typically being more energetic, passionate, innovative, and committed.
My political Activism goes beyond conventional politics, typically being more energetic, passionate, innovative, and committed. Action on behalf of special causes such as Scottish Independence’ goes well beyond conventional politics. I believe that Scottish independence is an overwhelming and immediate priority for the people of Scotland. I would like to see strengthened transparency rules, empowered committees in the parliament, advancements of local government powers to create localised and participatory democracy and openness in all the institutions of Scotland. I support envisioning of a level playing field where we can become truly equal to each other and where everyone’s rights are respected and protected, but, vitally, not at the cost of others. I believe that as an independent country, Scotland’s future will be in Scotland’s hands. Together, we can make Scotland the country we all know it can be and I believe it must happen now not later.
Inspiration to Meet Nasim
A huge part of the experience of meeting new people is to get to know another person’s experiences, their life story and what they’ve been through. Learning more about the people around you helps you expands your horizons and understand the bigger picture of life as a whole. When I meet someone new, I try to find out what has shaped them into the people they are now especially something I might not have the chance to live myself. Happy to meet anyone who wishes to teach me something or to learn from me.
